Release Date and What’s Next For The DCU
Superman is set to release worldwide this summer on July 11, 2025 and marks the first film in James Gunn’s new DC Universe. Following the film, the Supergirl movie will be released on June 26, 2026. The recently announced Clayface movie will be set in the DCU and gets released on Sept. 11, 2026. James Gunn is also developing Peacemaker Season 2 which is expected later in 2025. The Paradise Lost series is also in active development. The Lanterns series films early next year starring Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as John Stewart. Creature Commandos is available to watch on Max and gives us our first look at James Gunn’s DCU Batman.
