Paramount+ has unveiled the official trailer and key art for its upcoming original movie, Star Trek: Section 31, during its panel at CCXP in São Paulo, Brazil. The film will premiere Friday, January 24, 2025, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and in all international markets where the platform is available.
Michelle Yeoh Returns as Emperor Philippa Georgiou
Oscar® winner Michelle Yeoh reprises her role as Emperor Philippa Georgiou, a character first introduced in Star Trek: Discovery. In this standalone adventure, Georgiou joins Section 31, a covert Starfleet division dedicated to protecting the United Federation of Planets. Along the way, she must confront her shadowy past while navigating her dangerous new mission.

Behind the Scenes
The movie is directed by Star Trek: Discovery veteran Olatunde Osunsanmi and features a screenplay by Craig Sweeny, based on a story by Bo Yeon Kim and Erika Lippoldt.
