In a new interview, Tatiana Maslany sounds like she is mocking the fans as she jokes she was fired from Deadpool & Wolverine and that She-Hulk didn’t make any money because she’s woke.
Maslany also happens to be pretty far left as she supports transgenderism and the notion of letting kids choose their own pronouns and identities without schools letting parents know. She’s also starring in Paramount+’s upcoming Starfleet Academy.
What did Tatiana Maslany say about Marvel?
While appearing on the Comedy Bang Bang Podcast, Tatiana Maslany jokes about Marvel where she’s well aware of the rumors surrounding Deadpool & Wolverine and what has been said about She-Hulk, which has been canceled after one season due to the low viewership.
Wild rumors offered that Tatiana Maslany was going to appear in Deadpool & Wolverine but that Ryan Reynolds fired her from the movie.
“I was in Deadpool & Wolverine. I had two scenes in it,” she said. “And then Ryan Reynolds fired me from the show because he said, ‘I don’t like these scenes.’ Now I’m suing Disney. I always talk about how much I hate Wolverine and Deadpool. I talk about it all the time. “
She continued joking how she has a feminist agenda and the reason she isn’t continuing with Marvel is because she’s woke, which actually might be a dig at Gina Carano who was fired for Disney over her comments and is suing Disney.
“I also wish I’d just sit down and stop pushing my feminist agenda and just realize that [Deadpool & Wolverine] made a lot of money and She-Hulk only made three dollars,” Maslany added. “That’s why they were getting rid of me because I had this woke agenda, and I really wanted to bring it into the movie.”
How’d it work out for She-Hulk?
Recent rumors have actually also said that Kevin Feige has fired all the woke producers at Marvel. The past five years of Marvel has seen the quality nosedive because of injecting an agenda into the content instead of making it be about a good story.
Regarding why no She-Hulk, similar to what happened recently with The Acolyte, reportedly the budget of She-Hulk ballooned to $200 million but the viewership didn’t warrant the high cost so the series has been canceled.
““I don’t think so,” Maslany responded in January about a She-Hulk Season 2. “I think we blew our budget, and Disney was like, ‘No thanks.’”
She-Hulk has a 32% score from fans on Rotten Tomatoes.
