The Penguin Continues Crushing Ratings With Episode 2

The Penguin continues to crush the viewership ratings with its second episode released on Sunday.

Following the first episode which was a smash success, the viewership for Episode 2 has grown even larger.

Warner Bros. Discovery announced Sunday’s episode was watched by 1.6 million viewers which is a 17% increase from the series premiere held on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Additionally, it’s learned the first episode hit 10.4 million viewers after 11 days which makes The Penguin HBO’s #3 top show, currently, behind House of the Dragon and The Last of Us.

Samba TV also recently reported the first episode of The Penguin was watched by 3.2 million U.S. households on HBO or Max over its first four days and revealed it was the top-performing show of the week when it aired.

The Penguin will also be at the New York Comic-Con later this month.

Starring Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb (aka “The Penguin”), the eight-episode DC Studios drama series continues The Batman epic crime saga that filmmaker Matt Reeves began with Warner Bros. Pictures’ global blockbuster The Batman, and centers on the character played by Farrell in the film.

The cast also includes Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Clancy Brown, and Michael Zegen.
