A 300 prequel TV series is in early development with Zack Snyder in talks to return and direct and executive produce.
Snyder directed the 2006 film of the same name which led to the Rise of an Empire sequel released in 2014 that he produced.
Variety says the 300 TV series in in development at Warner Bros. Television; Zack Snyder recently buddied up with Netflix for Army of the Dead and Rebel Moon, I can’t help but wonder if the 300 prequel will actually be released on Netflix and not WBD’s MAX?
Along with Zack Snyder, his wife Deborah Snyder is also going to executive produce, and returning from the original movie is the producer team of Wesley Coller, Gianni Nunnari, Mark Canton, and Bernie Goldman.
300 brought in $456 million which in today’s dollars would be around $709 million.
