Spider-Man: Brand New Day Featurette Shows “Spider-Man On The Street” With New Poster

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Featurette Shows “Spider-Man On The Street” With New Poster

Sony and Marvel have released a new Spider-Man: Brand New Day featurette and poster, giving fans another look at Tom Holland’s return as Peter Parker.

The official Spider-Man X account posted the behind-the-scenes video with the caption: “Spider-Man on the street.”

The featurette focuses on what the production is calling “practical production,” with the movie leaning into real stunts, on-location filming, and in-camera action instead of making everything feel trapped on a soundstage.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Goes Practical

The new Spider-Man: Brand New Day featurette puts the focus on action filmed on the streets, with the crew teasing some of the best action sequences in the franchise.

The opening action sequence gets singled out as a major highlight, with practical car explosions filmed on the streets of New York.

The featurette also shows how much attention the production drew from fans, with huge crowds gathering to watch Spider-Man being filmed in the city. The team describes it as a reminder of how big the character still is around the world.

It’s a smart angle to push. After No Way Home went massive with Multiverse characters and legacy Spider-Men, Brand New Day looks to be selling a more grounded, street-level Spider-Man story.

New Poster Released

The new poster features Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in a close-up shot, with his Spider-Man suit visible under his jacket.

The poster keeps the focus on Peter instead of the larger cast or villains, which lines up with the movie’s new direction. This is no longer the high school Peter Parker who had Tony Stark tech, Avengers connections, and a support system around him.

Brand New Day is selling Peter as a full-time Spider-Man operating on his own.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Starts A New Chapter

Spider-Man: Brand New Day follows Peter four years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Peter is now an adult living alone after voluntarily erasing himself from the lives and memories of the people he loves. New York no longer knows his name, and Peter has devoted himself completely to fighting crime as Spider-Man.

As the pressure builds, Peter faces a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence. At the same time, a strange new pattern of crimes leads to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
