2020 Emmy Awards Nominations Includes Mandalorian, Watchmen

2020-emmy-award-nominations

The 2020 Emmy Awards nominations were announced on Tuesday which includes the Disney Plus Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, HBO’s Watchmen, Netflix’s Stranger Things, Westworld, and more.

We see that with Watchmen being a one-and-done the Emmy’s have placed it in the “limited series” category, which is pretty funny, as it scored twenty-six nominations, the most for any show this year.

The Mandalorian scored 15 nominations, but none for lead actor Pedro Pascal; Giancarlo Esposito’s cool appearance as Moff Gideonas earned a guest-starring acting nomination, with it looking like Esposito will have a larger role in Season 2.

The 2020 Emmy Awards will air live Sunday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on ABC hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
