Yesterday saw it rumored that Disney is back in talks to purchase Fox Studios and that it is possible an announcement could come at any time now.
Vanity Fair happened to catch up with both long time X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige about the possibility of the X-Men joining the Avengers universe.

Kevin Feige beats around the bush in his response as he realizes anything he says often gets the subject of click baits and in addition he probably can’t confirm anything with an impending sale going one.
Well, the problem is whenever I say anything about it, it becomes 15 headlines. So would we like to? Yeah, of course. Is there any movement toward it at all? No. Same thing. Same status.
If Disney does end up purchasing Fox Studios, Disney would get all the Marvel properties associated with the X-Men and Fantastic Four including Wolverine, Deadpool, Galactus and the Silver Surfer.
Fans of Marvel COSMIC dreams may come true if Marvel Studios ends up going with an Annihilation movie.
