Check out the awesome variant cover for the upcoming Justice League vs. Suicide Squad comic book event from DC Comics.
The variant featuring Wonder Woman crushing Harley Quinn, who happens to have a grenade in her mouth, was done by artist Lee Bermejo for an exclusive Forbidden Planet release.
“[Forbidden Planet] suggested the grenade pin in Harley’s mouth for continuity with some of their other covers. Nice touch I must say,” Lee Bermejo posted on Instagram.
The Justice League vs. Suicide Squad event kicks off in December with a special prelude found in the pages of Suicide Squad #8 and continues into issues of Suicide Squad (#9 and #10) and Justice League (#12 and #13) serving as tie-ins during January.
Justice League vs. Suicide Squad pits DC’s two greatest super-teams against each other in a six-issue weekly miniseries and is described as:
