Contrary to an earlier report from last Thursday that stated Pacific Rim 2 has been shelved, the sequel to the 2013 film is stated to still be in development.

Following a report by THR, Guillermo Del Toro took to Twitter today to state Pacific Rim 2 is still being worked on.

“[Pacific] Rim 2 cancelled? Don’t believe everything you read. It’s still going and I’ll remain [with] it in one way or another!” Del Toro tweeted.

Guillermo Del Toro was originally supposed to start production on Pacific Rim 2 following Crimson Peak, but Universal Studios recently removed the movie from their schedule leading to the speculation it wasn’t happening. In addition, Del Toro is said to be in talks to direct the Fantastic Voyage remake, which only added to the thought that Pacific Rim 2 was all but done for.

The good news is not only has Guillermo Del Toro put the rumors to rest, but the Chinese have purchased Legendary Entertainment; Pacific Rim did well in China, so as THR notes, that may mean the sequel is more likely.

The Warcraft trailer will finally be released, and to go with it a new movie poster has been revealed.

Director Duncan Jones confirmed via Twitter that the Warcraft trailer will be released in four days.

“Warcraft” has a June 10, 2016 release directed by Duncan Jones starring Ben Foster, Toby Kebbell, TravisbFimmel, Dominic Cooper, Paula Patton, Clancy Brown and Daniel Cudmore.

Legendary’s WARCRAFT is a 3D epic adventure of world-colliding conflict based upon Blizzard Entertainment’s globally-renowned universe. Directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) and written by Charles Leavitt and Duncan Jones, the film is a Legendary Pictures, Blizzard Entertainment and Atlas Entertainment production. The producers are Charles Roven, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Alex Gartner and Stuart Fenegan. Jillian Share, Brent O’Connor, Michael Morhaime and Paul Sams serve as executive producers. Fighting for The Alliance, Warcraft features Dominic Cooper as King Llane Wrynn, Travis Fimmel as Anduin Lothar, Ben Foster as Medivh, Ben Schnetzer as Khadgar, and Ruth Negga as Lady Taria, and on the side of The Horde is also Clancy Brown as Blackhand, Toby Kebbel as Durotan, and Daniel Wu as Gul’Dan, with Paula Patton’s Garona caught in the middle.

Legendary has released a first look at their upcoming horror movie Krampus.

Krapmus has a December 4, 2015 release directed by Michael Dougherty (Trick ‘r Treat) starring Adam Scott, Toni Collette, Allison Tolman, David Koechner, Conchata Ferrell, Stefania Owen and Emjay Anthony.

Synopsis:

Legendary Pictures’ Krampus, a darkly festive tale of a yuletide ghoul, reveals an irreverently twisted side to the holiday.

When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max (Emjay Anthony) is disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas.  Little does he know, this lack of festive spirit has unleashed the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers.

All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family’s home and forcing them to fight for each other if they hope to survive.
