Sylvester Stallone’s Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Character Officially Revealed

It’s been speculated for a while now, but now Sylvester Stallone’s Guardians of the Galaxy 2 character is officially made known.

Tonight at the Red Carpet premiere for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Sylvester Stallone was being interviewed where they have his characted listed.

Sylvester Stallone is playing Stakar Ogord in Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

In the Marvel Comics, Stakar is also known as Starhawk and happens to be one of James Gunn’s favorites. It’s unknown how close or if at all Stakar in the movie will resemble the comic book counterpart.

The Red Carpet Guardians of the Galaxy 2 premiere also saw the reunion of Tango & Cash as Stallone met up with Kurt Russell.

Sly’s character is also invovled with Michael Rosenbaum.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” has a May 5, 2017 release directed by James Gunn starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn. New cast members include Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell.

Synopsis:

Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” continues the team’s adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage.
