It’s known that David Corenswet has participated in Superman costume tests as James Gunn said as much, so now images have hit the net, which happen to be fakes.
James Gunn has said David Corenswet tested with a previous Superman suit, and since the actor is 6’4″, the suit didn’t fit him (Cavill is 6′ 1″ / Brandon Routh is 6′ 2″ / Christopher Reeve was 6′ 4″).
Likely photoshopped and/or AI-created fakes
The three images below then hit the net claiming to be of David Corenswet costume testing for Superman: Legacy, but they don’t look good at all and are likely photoshopped and/or AI-created fakes.
Fans questioned Gunn on Threads.
A fan asked, “Hey Mr. Gunn just one question has David Corenswet used the Superman suit on the screen testing? There’s a “leak” in the internet idk if it’s true but if is he looks great as the new Superman.”
It should also be said that Gunn is no dummy and knows how the leak game works, so there is no way he would let legit leaks happen. Check out the images below.
Not what fans are expecting
In related news, it’s claimed the David Corenswet Superman suit isn’t going to be what fans are expecting.
Not that this matters at all, but I heard from a friend who is working on LEGACY that the Superman suit is not gonna be what we’re expecting and is very curious for how fans are gonna react. Take that for what you will. https://t.co/0B7oaceYo5— Dan Marcus (@Danimalish) January 22, 2024
