Star Wars: Rogue One Coming To Star Wars Celebration

Star Wars: Rogue One Coming To Star Wars Celebration

In addition to the Star Wars Battlefront video game, it looks likely Disney and LucasFilm will be promoting the first Star Wars spinoff from director Gareth Edwards, Star Wars: Rogue One, at next month’s Star Wars Celebration.

As Star Wars: Rogue One shares “Rogue” with Paramount’s Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, it’s learned that instead of Paramount having to file lawsuits and such, Disney will simply not promote Rogue One, which hits December 2016, until after MI 5 gets released this Summer; so it’s really not that much of a big deal.

In THR‘s report on the matter, it is stated that Disney LucasFilm will still be able to promote Star Wars: Rogue One at the Star Wars Celebration event that takes place in Anaheim, California April 16-19.

Maybe we’ll learn more casting news at the event and more.

Star Wars: Rogue One has a December 16, 2016 release starring Felicity Jones.
