The Force is strong with Star Wars: The Last Jedi!
The second movie of the new trilogy from director Rian Johnson amassed a whopping $45 Million in its Thursday night advance previews, giving the Disney movie the second largest domestic gross for a Thursday behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($57 million).
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now projected to have upwards of a $200 million opening weekend in addition to a $110 million Friday opening (includes Thursday).
The film also has a 93% Fresh rating at Rotten Tomatoes, with 261 reviews counted: 242 Fresh to 19 Rotten.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in U.S. theaters on December 15, 2017
