Star Wars fans will head back to theaters as Lucasfilm marks the 50th anniversary of Star Wars (1977) with a limited re-release of the original classic.
The restored 1977 cut hits theaters on February 19, 2027, giving audiences a chance to experience the movie on the big screen again.
StarWars.com made the announcement. The original re-release was meant for April 30, 2027.
