Rachel Zegler confirms that Disney’s Snow White movie has finally finished filming, after initially wrapping in 2022, and then undergoing recent reshoots.

Reports offer the flick wasn’t testing well with audiences, and back in October of last year saw Disney delay the movie a full year from March 22, 2024 to March 21, 2025.

Earlier in the month also saw Gal Gadot confirm she was involved in reshoots, as Gadot plays the Evil Queen. “Feels good to be back!” posted Gadot.

“That’s a wrap on Snow White, and I so freakin proud and emotional,” said Zegler on her Instagram Story. “I love these people so much.”

Regarding the problems, per Disney, it seems to be a woke take on a classic character where the agenda comes first ahead of quality story.

Zegler went on record – and then backtracked – on how she said she was scared of the original animated movie, how she only watched it once and never watched it again.

She also said she was so terrified of the Disney ride that she never liked anything Snow White since, called Prince Charming a stalker, said it’s weird, and said her character won’t fall in love in the new movie and instead will be a leader.

It’s unknown if the big delay and reshoots removed any of the woke content which has turned off audiences. Recently saw Disney’s non-woke Inside Out 2 hit it big.

Disney has also recently gotten rid of the exec that was the head of its live-action films, which follows big busts including the live-action Little Mermaid.

Amazing Spider-Man‘s Marc Webb directs. Barbie‘s Greta Gerwig is credited as a writer on the script with Erin Cressida Wilson but Gerwig has said she was only hired for a couple of weeks, did a pass on the script and provided some jokes.
