Netflix released the poster and trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil live-action series based on the hit survival-horror franchise coming to the streaming service.
“Umbrella Corporation is going to change the world. Based on the horror franchise, Resident Evil and the T-virus arrives at Netflix, July 14th,” states the video description.
Resident Evil is a live-action, scripted series that will tell a brand new story building on Capcom’s legendary video game franchise. Nearly three decades after the discovery of the T-virus, an outbreak reveals the Umbrella Corporation’s dark secrets. The series stars Lance Reddick as Albert Wesker, along with Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph and Paola Nuñez.
