Prior the release of Castlevania Season 2 this Summer, itās learned that Netflix has given Season 3 the go ahead.
Richard Armitage, who voicesĀ Trevor Belmont in the series, filled in Digital SpyĀ that production on the third season will start soon.
āWeāre about to record a third [season]ā Armitage offered. āThe second season hasnāt been aired yet, but weāre about to do a third.ā
The first season of theĀ CastlevaniaĀ animated series saw only four episodes air, but they were well-received by fans who are now highly anticipating the release of Season 2.
āThe son of Dracula [Adrian Tepes, voiced by James Callis] and my character get much more collaborative,āArmitage teased for Season 2. āI think thatās one of the most exciting things, they start to really work together.ā
With theĀ CastlevaniaĀ animated series being so popular, Armitage says he wouldnāt mind a live-action movie.
āI love my character inĀ Castlevania⦠heās this anti-heroic, drunk, slightly foul-mouthed, irritable git!ā Armitage said. āI feel like it would make the most brilliant live-action piece. Itās slightly anarchic and humorous ā we donāt often see vampire heroics in that vein. One day, maybe.ā
Castlevania Season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix.
