Marvel Comics Cancels 11 Titles – At Least

It looks as if almost a dozen titles are getting the axe from Marvel Comics, which shouldn’t be a surprise as sales have been sluggish.

Marvel Comics sent out an e-mail to subscription holders notifying them of changes (via reddit) with mention of “some series are ending.”

We see the eleven cancelled Marvel titles will be replaced by new titles for subscription holders.

The cancelled Marvel comics and the titles that replace them include :

All-New All-Different Avengers –> Avengers
Agents Of SHIELD –> U.S. Avengers
Carnage –> Venom
Contest of Champions –> Champions
Guardians of Infinity (Abnett signed exclusive with DC) –> Guardians of the Galaxy
Hyperion –> Squadron Supreme
Nighthawk –> Occupy Avengers
Rocket Raccoon & Groot –> Guardians of the Galaxy
Starbrand and Nightmask –> Champions
Venom Space Knight –> Venom
Vision –> Champions

Doing a quick search, it seems a majority of these titles are selling under 20K, which probably means even more Marvel comics will be cancelled such as the NINO Nova, possibly Spider-Woman, Silver Surfer and more.

Per the norm, Marvel is already planning on a big relaunch in the coming months.
