Mark Millar Happy Marvel Is Doing Captain America: Civil War

Mark Millar penned the Marvel Comics event that Captain America: Civil War is in part based on.

Previously, Millar stated he was delighted to hear the news of Marvel Studios adapting the comic, and now Millar says he is going to enjoy the show and more.

“I couldn’t be more relaxed about it,” Millar told MTV. “Almost any other studio could screw it up. I’ll just show up on the night and enjoy the film.”

Mark Millar also stated when Civil War was announced that he wouldn’t do a cameo and was pretty happy about the fact that the Marvel Comics Civil War graphic novel had sold out at Amazon.

Mark Millar is responsible for Kick-Ass and the upcoming Kingsman: Secret Service movie.

Captain America: Civil War stars Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier and Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther.
