Back in February saw a series of tweets between James Gunn and Mark Hamill in regards to the possibility of the actor appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
A fan brought up the possibility with James Gunn offering that since they live so close to one another, that they should sit down and talk over a cup of coffee.
Mark Hamill replied that he would be happy to do so.
Now Collider catches up with Mark Hamill and asks about Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
“But I was just having fun. I mean, I follow [James Gunn] on Twitter. He’s a deeply gifted guy, and I love those movies, but who knows,” Mark Hamill said.
Having Mark Hamill in the MCU would be pretty cool. Any ideas what character he could play? I previously put it forth, how about The Stranger? Maybe another Elder of the Universe in addition to Grandmaster and The Collector?
Guardians of the Galaxy 3 looks to start filming some time this year for its 2020 release date.
