The new Man of Steel images offer a first look at Antje Traue as Faora, one of General Zod’s top Kryptonian soldiers in Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot.
The images also feature more of Henry Cavill as Superman, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, and Laurence Fishburne as Perry White.

First Look At Faora In Man Of Steel
The big reveal here is Faora.
Antje Traue’s Kryptonian villain is shown in full armor, giving fans a better look at the darker, militaristic design Snyder used for Zod’s forces in Man of Steel.
Faora plays a key role alongside Michael Shannon’s General Zod, as the surviving Kryptonians come to Earth and put Clark Kent in the middle of a battle between his birth world and his adopted home.
The new images show Faora both on her own and with Zod’s soldiers, teasing the threat Superman will face when the Kryptonians arrive.
Michael Shannon’s General Zod Gets A New Look
The images also include a strong new shot of Michael Shannon as General Zod.
Zod’s armor matches the heavy Kryptonian style seen on Faora and the rest of his forces. The look separates Man of Steel from past Superman movies, leaning into science fiction and military imagery instead of the classic comic book villain style.
Shannon’s Zod is one of the main threats in the movie, and these images make it clear Snyder is presenting him as a full-scale invasion-level villain.
More Henry Cavill As Superman
Henry Cavill is also featured in the new Man of Steel images, giving another look at the new Superman suit.
The costume drops the red trunks and uses a textured blue design with a larger Superman symbol across the chest. The suit became one of the most talked-about parts of the reboot as Warner Bros. and DC moved Superman in a new direction.
Cavill stars as Clark Kent, who must learn who he is while Earth faces the arrival of Zod and the surviving Kryptonians.

The new batch of images also includes Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, and Laurence Fishburne as Perry White.
The cast points to the larger scope of Man of Steel, which tells Clark’s origin through both his Kryptonian past and his life growing up on Earth.
Lois Lane also appears to be involved in the larger Kryptonian conflict, with one image showing her caught between Superman and Faora.
