Leslye Headland Has Heard ‘Nothing’ About The Acolyte Season 2

Following the disappointing season finale, showrunner Leslye Headland has once again confirmed she has heard nothing about The Acolyte Season 2.

When Headland was asked by EW.com, what she has heard in terms of a second season renewal, the article points out that Headland uses both hands to make a big zero. “Nothing,” she says.

Headland also previously said she isn’t working on a Season 2.

The Acolyte doesn’t deserve a Season 2

We can also argue that The Acolyte doesn’t deserve a Season 2 as it’s too costly, and it’s not good.

Star Wars shill point to Ahsoka getting a Season 2 renewal and Andor. However, Ahsoka cost a heck of a lot less than The Acolyte. It’s also known the viewership for Ahsoka is a lot higher. Andor? It’s got Tony Gilroy.

What about Ahsoka getting a Season 2?

Ahsoka cost around $100 million to make, while The Acolyte cost at least $187.5 million, basically double the price.

The Nielsen ratings (which are automatically turned on in your Disney+ account) also reveal double the amount of fans are watching Ahsoka compared to The Acolyte. It’s also known 75% of Star Wars fans that watched The Mandalorian didn’t bother to watch The Acolyte, which has disappeared from the Nielsen charts.

So do the math: Ahoska cost half the price of The Acolyte and has double the fans.

The Acolyte also sports the lowest Star Wars Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score.

What about Andor?

Regarding the shills arguing that Andor has a Season 2, Andor is actually a good show and it comes from Tony Gilroy.

I believe part of Gilroy’s deal was for two seasons of Andor, otherwise he wouldn’t have done the first season. Gilroy also fixed Rogue One for Disney. He also happens to be a much-respected writer, producer and director in Hollywood. Season 2 is also the last.

Andor‘s ratings are also now better than The Acolyte.

Disney done with costly BS?

We can also look to what is going on at Disney. CEO Bob Iger recently admitted Disney lost $4 billion from streaming. Insiders state Hollywood has been crushed by the streaming wars and in their attempt to compete with Netflix.

We can add that none of the Marvel shows that cost $200 million have been renewed, which includes She-Hulk. Similar to The Acolyte, all those Marvel shows have terrible content save maybe a couple.
