Kevin Feige Talks Doctor Strange Teaming With The Avengers

While the Doctor Strange movie lacked The Avengers, Kevin Feige offers up we’ll eventually see Doctor Strange side-by-side the likes of Iron Man and Thor.

In a previous interview with Feige, he mentioned why they didn’t want to go with an Avengers cameo in the movie, and now tells Total Film more on specifically why.

“It needed to be iconic in its own right. It needed to be very different from any of the other Avengers,” Feige said.

Feige continues with mention of Doctor Strange a part of the Avengers, as Benedict Cumberbatch has been confirmed for Avengers: Infinity War.

“Because Doctor Strange will most likely find himself standing one day next to Tony Stark, next to Thor, next to other Avengers,” Feige said. “So we wanted him to very much feel a part of the broader team and yet completely individulized and separate from anybody else.”
