Deadpool 2 is green lit and Cable is confirmed for the sequel as the post-credit scene for the movie confirmed the character.

The post-credit scene featured Deadpool in a homage to Ferris Bueller’s Day Off where Deadpool mentioned they have yet to cast Cable, but that it could be anybody: Mel Gibson, Dolph Lundgrem, Keira Knightley…
