Justice League Not Better Than Avengers Says Diane Lane?

Justice League Not Better Than Avengers Says Diane Lane?

Diane Lane, who plays Superman’s mom Martha Kent, recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen where a fan called in and asked for any Justice League spoilers and questioned if Justice League will be better than Avengers.

“No and no,” Diane Lane said with a laugh in the below video. “Short, but honest. I hate to disappoint.”

Now while it does sound as if Diane Lane is stating Justice League will not be better than the Avengers, if you watch the video below, Diane Lane does take a hand to her ear, as she is obviously having trouble understanding the question, so it’s possible she answered “no” to Justice League being better than Avengers by mistake.

Or, of course, it is possible Diane Lane was being “honest” and does “hate to disappoint.”

What do you think she means?

Diane Lane next stars as Martha Kent in Justice League, out this November, and is thought to be back for Man of Steel 2, which is currently in development.

Hmmm… Maybe Snyder is killing off Martha Kent in Justice League? He’s basically butchered the Superman character in its entirety, so killing off Martha Kent wouldn’t surprise me.

Check out what Diane Lane has to say about Justice League and Avengers around the 1:40 mark:
