Justice League of America’s Gypsy Coming To The Flash

Wow! What an episode of The Flash tonight, which was probably one of the best episodes this season.

We got a cool little Joker-esque cameo from Mark Hamill as the Earth-3 Trickster and a special appearance by John Wesley Shipp who made this Christmas episode even brighter as he helped Barry take on none other than Savitar!

Following the episode The CW posted a "Fan Feast" with DC All Access' Tiffany Smith. Both Carlos Valdes and Danielle Panabaker also appeared and offered hints for what's to come when The Flash returns January 24th, with Valdes confirming a new character is coming to The Flash with DC Comics' Gypsy, known for being a part of the Birds of Prey and Justice League of America.

"There's going to be a new visitor to our world named Gypsy," Valdes teased. "DC Comics fans will be familiar with Gypsy. She is going to be coming in our world and Vibe will definitely get to learn some new skills as part of getting to know her. So I'm excited to see how that plays out."

In the comics, Gypsy is a metahuman who can camouflage herself with her surroundings, in effect rendering herself invisible with her illusion powers. Gypsy was also a part of the DC Comics New 52 Vibe comic, which changed her origin from being from Earth to that of coming from a nomadic interdimensional tribe. Gypsy gets stranded on Earth when she accidentally separates from her traveling "gypsy" family. Amanda Waller actually seals Gypsy in an ARGUS vault believing Gypsy to be a threat and having declared war on Earth.

"The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8pm ET on The CW starring Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells and Jesse L. Martin plays Joe West.
