The PG-13 Once Upon A Deadpool is now out in theaters for a limited time, which sees Cable-actor Josh Brolin excited for its release as he posted a “Dancing Thanos” video on Instagram.
“Got the feels today,” Brolin posted including “#thatotherdeadpoolmoviecameout #50% #killingit #repost @jasonriv37.”
Once Upon A Deadpool runs for twelve days, Dec. 12-24, with a dollar of every ticket sold going to the Fudge Cancer charity.
“Because it’s the season of giving, we will also be giving $1 for every ticket sold to F-ck Cancer, which will be renamed Fudge Cancer just for this limited time and campaign,” Ryan Reynolds said in the announcement. “Fox has been asking for a PG-13 basically since the start in 2006. I’ve said no since 2006. Now, this one time, I said ‘Yes’ on two conditions. First, a portion of the proceeds had to go to charity. Second, I wanted to kidnap Fred Savage. The second condition took some explaining…”
Worth a mention is that once the Disney purchase of Fox Studios goes through, Josh Brolin will be playing two characters in the MCU — assuming Thanos survives the Avengers: Endgame.
It’s also rumored that a Deadpool 3 movie will be titled “X-Force” and feature Josh Brolin back as Cable. Assuming Brolin’s Fox deal carries over to Disney, look for Brolin in multiple movies as Cable.
“I think [X-Force films] sometime next year or soon thereafter. It depends. It all depends. It depends on how Deadpool 2 does, but I don’t think that’s a make or break kind of deal,” Brolin said back in October of last year. “Drew Goddard is already involved in it. He’s into it now. I know he and Ryan were meeting. I’ve met him once, and so this is all kind of going ahead. How it goes ahead, I know that they’re preparing, and I know that it’s something that I’m set to do. When it happens they’re going to put it as fast as they can. I think Drew Goddard is doing his movie right now and then once he’s kind of wrapped up with that and this movie comes out I think we’ll be ready to start the other one.”
Josh Brolin also posted on Instagram that he is the new face of McDonald’s for their Big Mac.
“Finally, a campaign. You are looking at the new face of McDonald’s BIG MAC Christmas campaign! It may make you sick, but at least it’ll make you big like me,” Brolin joked.
