Lex Luthor and Queen Hippolyta will be in Justice League.

Warner Bros. updated the cast of Justice League which includes mention of Jesse Eisenberg and Connie Nielson.

Last we saw of Lex Luthor (watch below), he was confronted by Batman at the end of Batman vs. Superman and being transported to Arkham. Regarding Luthor's role in Justice League, we can speculate it might have something to do with a possible connection to the film's villain, Steppenwolf, which might actually serve as an "out" for Lex Luthor if it comes out he was being "influenced" by an alien (meaning Lex is not responsible for his actions). This would also be another reason to fuel Lex's hatred for aliens and Superman.

Prior to Justice League, Connie Nielson will debut in Wonder Woman, out June 2, 2017, as the mother of Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman.
