A lot of opinions online are negative, which is reminiscient of Heath Ledger being announced as Joker, but probably the opposite of when Ledger’s Joker was finally revealed (as everybody liked it).

Comments on Leto’s Joker range from being compared to Marilyn Manson to people questioning what the “beep” is WB doing with the reinvention of its characters, to just about everybody disliking the tattoos.
