James Gunn Offers $100,000 Over Guardians of the Galaxy Easter Egg

James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy movie has one enigmatic Easter Egg left that, so far, no one has been able to find.

There’s been all kinds of theories ranging from Beta Ray Bill to Quasar, to just about everything under the sun (and stars), but no one has been able to discover it.

Now while participating in Q&A on Facebook, a fan brings up question of whether or not the mysterious Guardians of the Galaxy Easter Egg even exists.

“Do you plan on revealing the big easter egg from Guardians?” one fan questioned.

“No. I don’t plan on revealing it,” Gunn responded, which saw another fan follow up with: “He won’t reveal it because it doesn’t exist. The ultimate troll.”

Gunn responded by stating the Guardians of the Galaxy Easter definitely exisits and put his money where his mouth is by offering $100,000 if it doesn’t exit.

“If there is no Easter egg I will give you a hundred thousand dollars – copy this post – I will consider it a legally binding contract – signed, James Gunn,” Gunn posted.

Gunn included the following image of himself as well:

And for the record, here is a copy of the post in question:
