Ryan Reynolds has been pretty vocal about getting Hugh Jackman to appear in Deadpool 2.
While Hugh Jackman has retired from the Wolverine role, that doesn’t necessarily mean Hugh Jackman can’t be in Deadpool 2. How so?
How about Hugh Jackman cameoing as himself?
Deadpool 2 co-writer Rhett Reese responded as follows when it was thrown out there that Hugh Jackman could appear in Deadpool 2 as Hugh Jackman.
“I like that. Deadpool lives in a world where Hugh Jackman is out there,” Deadpool 2 writer Rhett Reese responded to THR’s idea of having just Hugh Jackman cameo. “He’s got the People’s Sexiest Man Alive cover that he staples to his forehead in the first movie, so maybe he could meet Hugh as Hugh. That would be really funny.”
Ryan Reynolds did recently appear in Logan as the opening teaser, so perhaps Hugh Jackman could return the favor in Deadpool 2?
Deadpool 2 is currently in development directed by David Leitch starring Ryan Reynolds as the titular character and Zazie Beetz as Domino. Michael Shannon is rumored for Cable.
