Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Trailer Teased For 2016 Comic-Con By James Gunn & Chris Pratt

As expected, James Gunn and the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be at next month’s Comic-Con along with Marvel Studios and Doctor Strange.

James Gunn posted a live video on Facebook as Chris Pratt wrapped shooting the movie, and it sounds like the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 trailer will be revealed at Comic-Con. The past week or so has also see Dave Bautista (Drax) and Karen Gillian (Nebula) finish filming Guardians of the Galaxy 2 as well. Kurt Russell finished up last month.

Gunn notes in the video below they still have a few more scenes to shoot as well, which his brother, Sean Gunn, is involved with.

“We also want to let everybody on Facebook know that we have an announcement,” Gunn said. “We, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, are coming to San Diego Comic-Con this year. We are going to be there. I’m going to be there. Chris Pratt is going to be there. A bunch of the gang is going to be there. And we are going to show you guys something pretty cool.”

“James’ movie. Yes. See you at Comic-Con!” Pratt added.

Comic-Con takes place July 20-24.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” has a May 5, 2017 release starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn. New cast members include Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell.
