It's reported WB is taking The Flash script in a different direction following Rick Famuyiwa having recently departed the director's chair.
It's said with Ezra Miller getting ready to shoot the sequel to Fantastic Beasts, that WB execs are in no hurry and have decided to rewrite The Flash script.
Rick Famuyiwa is said to have recently rewritten The Flash script, which featured Ray Fisher's Cyborg. Famuyiwa departed The Flash reportedly over differences with WB execs over the direction of the movie.
To date, The Flash has gone through at least three directors and two script rewrites.
The Flash has a July 27, 2018 release date also starring Kiersey Clemons as Iris West and Billy Crudup as Henry Allen.
Ezra Miller will next be seen as The Flash in Zack Snyder's Justice League, out November 17, 2017.
