One of the best shows to have premiered last year was The Exorcist, which starred Geena Davis as none other than an adult Regan.
The series was really great, and if you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it (I liked it more than American Horror Story).
Following the end of The Exorcist Season 1, it was unclear if there would be a Season 2, but now the good news is that FOX has officially given Season 2 the go ahead!
The Exorcist Season 2 returns this Fall and will air Fridays at 9pm ET.
Deadline ads the pitch for Season 2 was well-received.
The Exorcist also stars Ben Daniels and Alfonso Herrera, with the series created and executive produced by Jeremy Slater.
Thanks to all the fans who kept hope alive and helped spread the word. We couldn’t have done it without your support!
