Dylan O’Brien Hurt On Maze Runner Set; Will Be Okay

Production on the third Maze Runner movie has been suspended due to Dylan O’Brien suffering an injury on set while working in Vancouver.

It’s unclear how Dylan O’Brien was injured, with rumors stating he fell off of a train cab, while others stated he was run over by a car and has broken bones, but it’s learned the actor will be okay.

Fox released the following statement (via THR):

“Dylan O’Brien was injured yesterday while filming Maze Runner: The Death Cure in Vancouver, Canada. He was immediately transferred to a local hospital for observation and treatment. Production on the film will be shut down while he recovers. Our thoughts go out to Dylan for a full and speedy recovery.”

Director Wes Ball and author of the Maze Runner, James Dashner, offered up the following tweets.

The Maze Runner: The Death Cure is due out February 17, 2017.

I just want to let everyone know that yes, Dylan was hurt, but that he’s going to be okay. Not life threatening in any way.

Production is postponed but certainly not cancelled. All that matters now is that Dylan recovers. We love you, Dylan!!!
