HBO has officially announced the release of its new original drama series, Dune: Prophecy. The six-episode series, co-produced with Legendary Television, will premiere on Sunday, November 17 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available for streaming on Max. New episodes will air every subsequent Sunday. The series’ official trailer was recently unveiled at New York Comic Con.
The trailer for Dune: Prophecy sets a dark and intense tone, showcasing the intricate political struggles and secretive power plays within the Imperium. The Sisterhood is introduced as a clandestine order drawing women from across the galaxy to advance and protect the future of humanity. The trailer hints at significant conflicts, with a mix of action, tension, and epic visuals, as the Great Houses battle for control and secrets are revealed.

DUNE: PROPHECY expands on the universe of Dune, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, taking place 10,000 years before the events of Dune and the rise of Paul Atreides. The series follows two Harkonnen sisters as they face threats to the future of humankind and lay the foundations of the Bene Gesserit, a powerful sect known throughout the Dune universe. It is inspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
