Doctor Strange Prequel Comic Book Confirms Mads Mikkelsen Villain Role

Following on the heels of the LEGO set, now a Marvel Comics Doctor Strange prequel comic book reveals Mads Mikkelsen’s villain role.

The comic, which came out today, reveals Mads Mikkelsen is playing Kaecilius, who in the comics is a disciple of Baron Mordo and enemy of Doctor Strange in the comics.

The prequel reveals that Kaecilius uses two daggers as weapons and teams up with Wong and the mystics (see below).

“Doctor Strange” has a November 4, 2016 release also starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton and Benedict Wong.

Synopsis:

Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilising a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.
