Doctor Strange will hit the $500 million mark at the box office some time in the next couple of days.
Doctor Strange also managed to drop only 49% from its first week, which is the second best percentage in the last ten Marvel movies (by comparison, Batman Vs. Superman dropped 69%).
On top of its $153+ million U.S. box office, Doctor Strange has netted $339.6 million internationally, which passes the foreign box office grosses for The Incredible Hulk ($129m), Captain America: The First Avenger ($194m), Iron Man ($266m), Thor ($268m), Iron Man 2 ($310m) and Ant-Man ($339m).
“Doctor Strange” has a November 4, 2016 release directed by Scott Derrickson starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mads Mikkelsen.
