Doctor Strange Mid-Credit Scene Leaks Online

The Doctor Strange post-credit scene has leaked online. Obvious spoilers follow.

“Doctor Strange” has a November 4, 2016 release directed by Scott Derrickson starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mads Mikkelsen.

Synopsis:

Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.

Doctor Strange mid-credit scene spoilers:

The Doctor Strange mid-credit scene features Benedict Cumberbatch’s Stephen Strange talking with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. Doctor Strange is worried that Thor brought his troublesome brother Loki with him to Earth. Thor explains they are there to find their father, Odin. Doctor Strange offers that if he helps Thor and Loki find Odin, will they leave the Earth? Thor answers in the affirmative.

Spoilers for Thor: Ragnarok:

It’s possible Benedict Cumberbatch may be featured in Thor: Ragnarok as set images have revealed Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and Anthony Hopkins on the streets of NYC where Thor and Loki are apparently looking for Odin, who has apparently forgotten he is the Allfather and roams around as a hobo. Obviously connecting the dots with the above, Doctor Strange helps Thor and Loki find Odin. It’s also speculated the reason Odin is on Earth is a result of Loki’s meddling in Thor: The Dark World which saw Loki place himself on the throne at the end of the movie. Another possibility is that the missing Odin is a result of Cate Blanchett’s Hela in Thor: Ragnarok or the reason Thor and Loki go in search of their father (for help).

Thor: Ragnarok has a November 3, 2017 release, and Benedict Cumberbatch is also confirmed for Avengers: Infinity War.
