The Avengers: Infinity War opens in less than two weeks, which sees Thanos coming to Earth in search of the Infinity Stones.
Directors Joe and Anthony Russo recently touched upon the motivations of Thanos in the movie and now expand upon the Mad Titan.Â
âItâs like death comes to call for the Avengers,â Joe Russo told HeyUGuys. â[Thanos is] a nearly unbeatable force who is determined to destroy half the life in the universe in order to bring it into balance. He sees it as an overgrown garden that he needs to prune.â
The Russoâs continue with mention of the power of Thanos.
âAs you mentioned he is fairly invincible. Heâs a sort of genetic mutation whoâs the Genghis Khan of the universe. Unbeatable on the battlefield and stronger than the Hulk. Skin in invincible, so it really is a, itâs going to cost the Avengers something to defeat him,â they revealed.
