Dean Cain and Helen Slater Cast In Supergirl TV Series

Now this is some cool casting news.

Dean Cain, the Superman in the Lois & Clark TV series, as well as Helen Slater, the original Supergirl, have been cast in the new CBS Supergirl TV series.

Deadline doesn’t have much information other than the two are said to have been cast in “mystery roles.”

WB has been casting actors and actresses that were involved with their previous superhero shows and movies such as Brandon Routh as Atom, John Wesley Shipp as Barry Allen’s father and Amanda Pays as Dr. Tina McGee.

The CBS Supergirl series is also set to star Melissa Benoist as Supergirl, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-ElCalista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw and  Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers.
