Over 8,000 fans have voted and Deadpool 3 tops Fandango’s most anticipated movie list for 2024.
#1 is Deadpool 3. The flick sees Ryan Reynolds traveling the Fox Marvel Multiverse which follows the Merc With A Mouth running into Hugh Jackman who returns Wolverine, and others. Deadpool 3 gets released July 26, 2024.
At #2 is Beetlejuice 2 which sees the return of Tim Burton, Michael Keaton, and Winona Ryder, and stars Wednesday‘s Jenna Ortega. Say his name three times and Beetlejuice 2 is back September 6, 2024.
At #3, the third most anticipated movie for 2024 is Ghostbusters: Frozen Kingdom which unleashes cold fury on NYC. The Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. Call up the Ghostbusters on March 29, 2024.
At #4 is Dune: Part Two which Warner Bros. recently delayed from a December 2024 release to March 1, 2024. Director Denis Villeneuve returns with his take on the popular novels. Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya are back in their respective roles with the film boasting an all-star cast including Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Christopher Walken, Dave Bautista, and more.
#5 is Venom 3 from Sony as part of the Spider-Man spinoff universe. Tom Hardy is back as Eddie Brock the superhero symbiote. Fans are hoping for a connection to Marvel and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. The flick swings into theaters November 8, 2024.
Rounding out the top ten includes at #6 Despicable Me 4, at #7 is Inside Out 2, #8 is The Lord of the Rings: The War of Rohirrim Anime, #9 is Ridley Scott’s Gladiator 2 starring Pedro Pascal, Denzel Washington and Paul Mescal, and at #10 is the prequel, A Quite Place: Day One starring Lupita Nyong’o, Djimon Hounsou, and Stranger Things‘ Joseph Quinn who is rumored for Marvel’s Fantastic Four.
