Deadpool 3: First Look At Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson

The Merc with a bark posts an image of himself along with Ryan Reynolds maskless as Wade Wilson in Deadpool 3.

Following yesterday’s Hugh Jackman Wolverine spoiler images from the set as the flick is now filming, we get a new look at Reynolds in the makeup of the titular character.

“Looks like avocado. Tastes like dog sh-t,” posted the account which is a part of the film’s official marketing campaign.

Who is Dogpool?

In the comics, Dogpool is a Multiverse version of Deadpool, so maybe Dogpool will actually be featured as a Variant in the film (update: the pic is likely from the movie). The comics see The Merc With A Mouth travel to Earth-103173 where in that reality scientists conduct a version of the Weapon X program on a dog named Wilson and name him Dogpool. The Merc with a bark ends up joining the Deadpool Corps, a team of Multiverse versions of Deadpool.
