Sons of Anarchy Mayan Spinoff In The Works

Following the success of Sons Of Anarchy, it’s being reported Sons creator Kurt Sutter is developing a spinoff centering on the Mayans Motorcycle Club.

THR notes, the Mayan spinoff is still early in the development process and that Sutter is keeping mum on the Sons Of Anarchy spinoff details.

In the Sons of Anarchy series, the Mayans were a rival motorcycle gang comprised of Mexican and Mexican-Americans who at times sided with the Sons and butted heads with them as well. 

It’s possible the Mayan spinoff could star Emilio Rivera, who portrayed the Mayan president Marcus Alvarez.

Kurt Sutter left the Mayan storyline pretty much opened following what went down in the Sons final season.
