Last week saw it hit the net that Monty Python actor John Cleese might be in the Justice League movie, and now John Cleese is being speculated for the Ben Affleck Batman film.
DCEU photographer Clay Enos recently followed John Cleese on Twitter; now it's learned John Cleese has followed both Zack Snyder and Ben Affleck. I think it's a pretty safe bet to say that John Cleese has been cast in a role in the DCEU, but which one is unknown.
I would agree with the Redditors who state that John Cleese might have been cast in Batman and/or Justice League in a role related to Alfred, as we know Alfred in Batman vs. Superman isn't just a simple butler, but also head of security and a former officer of the British Special Air Service Unit. We can guess that John Cleese might have served with Aflred and that they are friends (or even former friends). Others are reddit are also speculating John Cleese could be Darkseid, which of course can't be ruled out.
