DC vs. Marvel is back on!
Check out the clip below from an interview with Chris Pine where the actor laughs at the notion of Marvel’s The Avengers: Infinity War!
Chris Pine plays Steve Trevor in the new Wonder Woman movie for DC, with the character not having powers or a super hero costume.
“Within this genre it’s difficult to do anything new and usually you just see a bunch of people killing one another in outfits and blowing up cities. Like I know there is a thing called Infinity War [laughs] coming out, which is like… Really. Like ‘Infinity War.’ We need more war for all time.”
It probably should be noted that I’m pretty sure Chris Pine isn’t a fan or read comic books, so basically his comments pertain to the entire genre, as obviously Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Justice League, etc. all share similar themes and action to the Marvel movies, yet Pine did specifically name-drop Infinity War, which is pretty funny (lol).
Wonder Woman is now in theaters.
