Is it all connected? Or will it be soon?
For the first time, a possible Marvel TV and MCU crossover is at least hinted.
Charlie Cox, who plays Marvel TV’s Daredevil on Netflix, appeared at this past weekend’s Ace Comic-Con (watch video below) where he was asked about the possibility of any of the Marvel movie characters appearing in the Daredevil series (via CB).
Cox actually didn’t reply in the negative, but teased, “I’m afraid I can’t tell you that at all. That is a secret.”
The reason it comes as such a surprise is because it has been reported there is a disconnect between Marvel TV and Marvel Studios, as the two are separate companies at Disney and said to not get along.
Maybe things have changed and Marvel is or will fall under one umbrella?
Charlie Cox also asked the fan which MCU character he would most like to appear on Daredevil, with the fan responding Iron Man, and Cox joking that getting Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man would be cheap.
“I think he’s quite cheap to get as well,” Cox replied. “I’m sure we can figure that out. His daily rate is like way low.”
At one time Charlie Cox even offered that the MCU could use a different actor to play Daredevil for The Avengers: Infinity War movies, so Cox’s latest response obviously comes a long way from that.
Fans have been begging Marvel for some sort of crossover, even if it’s just more or less a cameo role, that would be pretty epic.
Daredevil Season 3 is currently in development.
