Will we be seeing a sequel to G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra?
The movie was better than I thought it was going to be, so I definitely wouldnât mind.
The Toronto Sun quotes Channing Tatum (Duke) saying we just might:
âSupposedly thereâs a script thatâs liked by the studio. I havenât seen it. Theyâre always really tight with information on these big movies.â
G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra came out in 2009 that saw a rebooted Hasbro toy line, as well. A the Sun notes, the movie didnât do all that well grossing a little over $300 million worldwide.
In related news, Tatumâs next movie will be the sci-fi romantic epic Ion that is being produced by Ridley and Tatum Scott. Apparently, this is trying to play off the success of Avatar, as Channing Tatum âplays a man who travels to different Earths and dimensions in order to find his reincarnated lover,â according to Screen Rush.
