Following Anthony Mackieâs recent comments and with Marvelâs Brave New World getting released next week, an image of Chris Evans as the Steve Rogers Captain America goes viral which includes President Donald Trump.
Note: The image is AI-generated. Itâs known Evans is a big lib along with the rest of the Marvel Avengers actors who donât support Trump. Itâs probably safe to say Evans would never take part in a similar photo op.

Regarding the image, X user Huff4Congress posted the Captain America with Trump image in response to Varietyâs article about Anthony Mackie recently telling people to âchill the fâ outâ over comparing Trump to Harrison Fordâs Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World.
The X user replied to YouTuber Nerdroticâs comment, and the post has gone viral with 18.1 million views.

What did Anthony Mackie say?
Regarding what Anthony Mackie has said, somebody correct me if Iâm wrong, but I can recall in an interview from years ago that Mackie said Steve Rogers is Captain America and not his character, Sam Wilson. I also believe Mackie said he didnât want to play Captain America, as again, Falcon isnât Cap. Oddly, I canât find the interview, anywhere. If someone can locate it, hit me up.
Aside from snatching the role of Captain America, Mackie recently found himself in the hot seat when he said Captain America doesnât represent America:
âCaptain America represents a lot of different things and I donât think the term âAmericaâ should be one of those representations. Itâs about a man who keeps his word, who has honor, dignity and integrity. Someone who is trustworthy and dependable.â
Mackie followed it up with:
âLet me be clear about this, Iâm a proud American and taking on the shield of a hero like CAP is the honor of a lifetime. I have the utmost respect for those who serve and have served our country. CAP has universal characteristics that people all over the world can relate to.â

In an interview with Esquire, Mackie said the following to fans about Red Hulk Trump comparisons:
âI hope, as a country, weâre tired of all the political jousting. Letâs just go to the movies and chill the fuck out. We couldâve made this motherfucker yellow and it wouldâve been a problem.â
Captain America: Brave New World gets released on Feb. 14.
